A prenatal massage can help with the changes in your body by reducing stress, decreasing arm and leg swelling, and relieving muscle and joint pain. Massage may be particularly helpful during a time when medication and other medical options may be more limited. Using specially designed massage pillows, the massage therapist will help get you into a comfortable position for this type of massage. Please let us know when booking how far along you are to ensure your comfort.

Booking a postpartum massage (up to 12 weeks after you give birth) can help you experience a quicker recovery and overall better health after giving birth. Some of the benefits include: muscle relaxation, pain relief, hormone regulation, decreased swelling, better sleep and improved breastfeeding. Please obtain your doctor’s approval before scheduling a prenatal massage if you have conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, recent surgery or an organ transplant.

A couple’s massage is a massage you have in a shared room with a friend, partner, or family member.
You can usually choose from a variety of types of massages to have during your appointment. Swedish and hot stone massages are commonly offered as an option during a couple’s massage.

​As couple’s massages require two therapists, please fill out the massage request form so that we can best tailor our schedule to fit your needs.

PIP (Personal Injury Protection) and L&I insurance billing related massage.
This form of massage may include many types of massage and other massage techniques effective in treating specific injuries. Massage Therapy is increasingly recognized for its benefits in treating injury, managing pain, and reducing recovery time. Please contact us if you are a returning patient and need to book additional sessions.

We offer optional Aromatherapy Oils/Hot Stone and/or Cupping add-ons for $10 each. These add-ons are not covered by L&I insurance. Please let your therapist know if you are interested at the time of your appointment.

*A Prescription from your doctor is required for this service along with Claim, Insurance company information and adjuster/claims specialist contact numbers. If you also have retained a lawyer, please include their name and contact information.

Our standard pricing reflects a discount given for time of service payment. If you are not paying at the time of service such as PIP or L&I treatment, we bill the most current rate set for massage therapy and manual therapy by the State of Washington Worker’s Compensation Fee Schedule. The current rate as of July 1, 2024 is $57.58 per unit for massage therapy.

Medical Insurance Paid Massage

This form of massage may include many types of massage and techniques effective in treating specific injuries. Massage Therapy is increasingly recognized for its benefits in treating injury, chronic pain, and many other conditions. Please ask your doctor if massage therapy is appropriate for your medical history.

*A Prescription with Diagnostic codes is required from your doctor for this service along with your MRN. (If your insurance requires a referral, please also include this with your documentation.) See our FAQ page for more detailed information.

Prenatal Massage necessitates that the therapist delivers optimal care for the expectant mother, utilizing specialized techniques and cushions to safeguard both mother and child. We provide only 75-minute and 90-minute sessions for Prenatal Medical Massage. When making a reservation, please indicate your desired session duration. Note that a doctor’s approval and a prescription are required to schedule an appointment.
